2.  Project for Homer’s Odyssey:  Mobile

  Required Checklist for Mobile Project

(60% of total project grade )

      1.      *must include at least 8 ‘details from the episode’ (people/objects/places)

      2.       *must not be constructed of coat hangers (except perhaps for a hook at top)

      3.       *must not be smaller than 12” in diameter

 

               *each detail must be:

       4.           -large enough to be easily seen from 10 feet away

       5.           -double-sided or 3D - able to be seen from any angle

       6.           -labeled neatly & permanently

       7.           -completely handmade - no store-bought items to represent a detail

 

        8.    *mobile must be sturdy & durable

                   - points will be deducted if objects fall off or are broken

                   - remember, these will be up in Knights Hall for a week

 

        9.    *mobile must be fully balanced & hang properly -

5 pts will be deducted from total grade for slightly unbalanced mobile,

                    10 pts for clearly unbalanced mobile

 

       10.                                  Overall Quality and Effectiveness

(20% of total project grade)

               1.      -neatness/clarity                              3.       -ability to tell the story visually

               2.     -artistic merit & presentation          4.      -creativity/originality
