Checklist/Rules for Scenic Model Project:

1. At least 10 ‘details from episode’ must be visually represented in your model

2. Each detail must be neatly labeled and numbered on the model.

3.   Base of the model must be a sturdy, non-flexible material (e.g., wood) which is easily able to support your model

4. Entire models from paper/cardboard/shoebox material are not permitted

5. Clay-type material (such as ‘Model Magic’) may be used for figures or details,

but the entire model cannot be constructed from this material.

N.B. If you are going to use Model Magic, you should make sure that you know how to use it well.  This means that messy non-descript figures will not be successful.

                                                -store-bought action figures/army men/figurines of any sort

                                                -Lego materials or anything similar

7. Some suggestions for materials:

                   -chicken-wire covered with papier-mâché for structures/landscape

-decorated clothespins, thread spools, or clay for characters

dried pasta/beans, bits of fabric, string, rubber bands,

                   - points will be deducted for missing/broken pieces

                   - remember, the model will be on display in Knights Hall for a week

Teachers will also use the following four criteria to grade projects:

-neatness/clarity                                  -ability to tell the story visually
