Multimedia Digital Project for Vergil's Aeneid

This project may be used for State and National Convention. 

 

Students must follow the guidelines of the project and use the details of the episode AS WELL AS using the 2009 Convention Theme.  This should not prove difficult given the theme of Convention.

 

The 2009 State Convention Theme is: "Di nos quasi pilas homines habent." The gods play with us mortals like toys. -- Plautus

 

Required Checklist for Multimedia Project (90% of total grade): 

 

1. The  project must be created on a CD or burned onto a CD that will play in a normal computer. 

 

2. Student must submit 3 copies of the project.

 

3. Programs that may be used to create the project include:  Macromedia Flash and PowerPoint.  If you have another, see teacher for permission.

 

3. At least 10 ‘details from the episode’ must be represented within the show.   

 

4. The show must also pertain to the theme : "The gods play with us mortals like toys."

 

5.  Student must use a variety of sound effects and music throughout the show.

 

6.  Caveat:  By law, an educational multimedia may use up to 10% but no more than 30 seconds of music and lyrics from an individual music work.

    

7. Student must give proper credit to pre-recorded music or media.

 

8. The required length of the complete show is:  Minimum:  4 minutes to Maximum:  12 minutes.

-Technical Quality                                            - Content and Overall Effect
