Desert

We are having a lot of fun exploring the deserts.  Ask your child to explain what "adaptations" the desert animals have for surviving in the extreme temperatures.

Each child has studied a desert animal, complete a report, and made a diorama of the animal's habitat.  They will be on display at Campus Day!

                                Mysteries                       

We will begin reading and inquiring about the elements of a mystery.  You may want to encourage your child to choose a mystery chapter book to begin reading.  My suggestions for authors and series would include, Cam Jansen, The Box Car Children, Jig Saw Jones, and Clue Jr.
