SUMMIT ORGANIZATIONS

Organizations are groups that have membership requirements or a selection process.

 

  • Student Congress

-          There should be at least one rep from each advisement group.

-          Each advisement must be represented each quarter.

-          Every student must serve one quarter in four years.

  • Student Senate

-          There are 12 Juniors elected at mid-year by the student body and faculty.

-          They must be a student in good standing.

-          Must have 36 of the graduation required service hours.

-          Must have served at least 1 quarter on the Student Congress.

  • National Honor Society

-          To be eligible for membership a student must be a Junior or Senior, have an accumulative weighted GPA of 11.0+ for all US work attempted, and must be at Summit 2 semesters.

-          Candidates are evaluated on service, leadership, and character.

  • Senior AYF Leadership Team

-          Must be a junior or senior and willing to fully participate in the peer leadership activities outlined by the adult leadership team.

-          Must have attended at least 1 summer AYF conference.

-          Must be a student in good standing.

-          It is recommended that the student has participated in at least 1 other summer leadership development program.

  • Mock Trial

-          Members of the Mock Trial team are selected each year by the moderator.

-          Members are expected to attend meetings and fully participate.

-          Mock Trial is not available to those playing a winter sport.

-          The number of open spots on the Mock Trial team each year dependant on many factors.
