Community Service Work Practicum

  • All students are expected to participate in community service work with the agency they have selected.

  • Students are responsible for informing the agency of their volunteer schedule at least three weeks ahead of time.

  • Students are responsible for following the rules of the school and of the agency while at the work site (if the rules of the school differ from the rules of the agency, school rules should be followed).

  • Students will car-pool to and from work sites. Students will be at the work site for the entire 60 minutes of service.

  • Students will not be given passes to arrive late to any classes.

  • Attendance will be taken at the work site - if no parent or agency representative is available to take attendance the site communicator must call 871-4700x228 and inform me of the attendance.

  • If you arrive late to a work site it will be counted as a school tardy.
