Uganda

 

Tendo is holding some angels that were made from Banana leaves!
Tendo and his dad are showing us the carved wooden animals that you can find roaming in Uganda.  Among them are lions, giraffes, elephants, rhinoceri.

Tendo is holding some carved wooden candlesticks from Uganda.  Everything was made from things found in nature.
Tendo shows us how people in Uganda carry items.  They carry these items on their heads in woven baskets.

The children passed this hat around from Uganda.  It was woven so tightly that it was waterproof.
Mr. Mutema is showing us a woven mat from Uganda.

In this picture, Tendo is wearing  traditional Ugandan apparel.  His vest is made from tree bark.
