While the children were enjoying their summer vacation, construction
at the Summit reached full swing. As summer is coming to a close,
the finishing touches are being put on the latest of these projects.
Summit’s first soccer game on August 24th and the opening day
football game on August 27th will invite many to view the fabulous
new football field. Others will enjoy seeing the $11 million Lower
School for the first time on the first day of school, September 7th.
Those students in Montessori through fourth grade will get to start
their school year in this spectacular building. They’ll enjoy
working in the innovative science rooms with hands-on laboratories.
They’ll get to explore their creative side in the art center,
complete with kiln and graphic design capabilities. They will
perform in an acoustically superb music room. They can improve their
computer skills in the new lab with state-of-the-art wireless
technology.
