The Zoo came to visit. They discussed hibernation and migration to the first grade.  Mr. Don brought in a black rat snake for the first graders to touch.  He talked about how snakes are true hibernators. Mr. Don brought in a skunk and discussed how the skunk protects itself during the winter.       Mr. Don with the black rat snake.
