Within The Summit Country Day School’s Lower School, the Technology Teacher reports to the Lower School & Middle School Director. The selected individual will engage students in high quality learning experiences such as introducing them to coding, internet safety, 3-D printing and their Summit Microsoft accounts. Second Grade Teacher – February 2020
Within The Summit Country Day School’s Lower School, the Second Grade Teacher reports to the Lower & Middle School Director. The selected individual will engage students in high quality learning experiences. This person will also be actively engaged in teaching English/Language Arts, Math and Social Studies. The Upper School Resources & Intervention Specialist works with students with special learning needs. He/She is responsible for monitoring student performance and providing the appropriate intervention and instruction for each individual under his/her care. This intervention may occur in the resources classroom or in other settings. The job is full-time during the school year and the employee adheres to all responsibilities outlined in The Summit Employee Handbook. Advancement Services Database Administrator – February 2020
The Advancement Services Database Administrator is an integral part of the fundraising team and reports to the Development Director. The selected individual will be a subject matter expert in Raiser’s Edge and will be responsible for the management of the donor data systems. Lower School Administrative Assistant – February 2020
The Summit Country Day School is seeking a Lower School Administrative Assistant to provide administrative assistance to the Lower & Middle School Director. This person will be responsible for meeting the needs of the Lower School faculty, staff, students and parents. The selected individual will have general responsibility for creating an efficient operation of the administrative office with primary duties including, but not limited to, maintaining a warm, welcoming environment, managing office activities, maintaining accurate attendance records, assuring adult coverage of all classes, maintaining daily rosters and schedules, providing support, direction and help to students, assisting the school nurse in addressing the health concerns of our students, acting as initial point of contact for visiting parents, vendors, service providers and others and handling phone and email queries, messages and requests. Technology Support Specialist – February 2020
The Technology Support Specialist will report to the Director of Technology, support the integration of technology at all levels and assist in the management of campus academic and administrative technology systems. This person will provide Level 1 support services to Summit faculty and staff members to ensure the effective and efficient use of technology hardware and software in the teaching and learning process. Extended Day Staff – February 2020
The Extended Day Staff is responsible for supervising, leading and participating in activities with school-age children (age 3 – 8th grades) and is responsible for providing an appropriately safe, caring and enriching environment for the children enrolled in the Extended Day program.
