While The Summit Country Day School’s rigorous curriculum opens doors at colleges and universities across the country, Summit athletes are also in demand. This year, 46 alumni athletes are competing at the collegiate level this academic year.
The Summit Country Day School inducted 63 new members into the National Honor Society (NHS) during a ceremony on Sept. 14 in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel.
The Summit Country Day Upper School has been given the Emerald Award for 8,290 service hours completed from June 2019 to April 2020.
Seven recent graduates of The Summit Country Day School have been named National Advanced Placement (AP) Scholars by the College Board, the highest award level in the AP program.
The Summit Country Day School has won a gold dotComm Award for web creativity and digital communication in the education category.
Five Summit students attended the virtual National Junior Classical League (NJCL) convention July 24-29. Originally scheduled to be at the University of Richmond, all aspects of the convention were converted so that the students could compete from home.
