We all go through seasons of life where we have more free time than other periods. Paul Moran is no stranger to this roller coaster. Paul is a Summit Boys Middle School grad, Class of 1990. “As an alum, my involvement has mirrored my seasons in life - personal and professional. I have championed The Summit through each chapter. And I love that The Summit Leadership has always met me where I am and encouraged me to aspire to a life of purpose and excellence. Summit made an indelible impact on my life that continues to this day.  My quality of life and happiness can be linked to my time at the Summit.”

Paul attended Summit from kindergarten through Grade 8. The impact The Summit had on his life is profound. “As I’ve aged, the takeaway has changed. Summit provided me with a world-class education. But, more importantly, Summit taught me to be a man of great principle, to never hide my talents, and to lead an impactful life. Ms. Ryan weaponized a young me in English grammar and composition, and the knowledge she instilled has benefited me ever since. Bruce Bowden has touched the lives of many. He changed my life forever by expanding my musical knowledge and understanding. Mark Weisner brought art to life and empowered me to create and dream big, making me forget about my horn-rimmed glasses and lack of playground prowess.”

As a Marketing Director for DBL Law, Paul finds time to support Summit and encourages others to get involved and invested with The Summit. “Summit made me who I am. And I have many enduring friendships across every walk of life where Summit is the common thread. So I say to all alumni and those who make the school possible that it is important to support this institution. What I find singular is that The Summit has kept in touch with me over the years, whether I was rich or poor, employed or not, but out of a genuine interest in my life and well-being. Where else does one find that? And so I will always advocate for The Summit Country Day School.”
