In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Summit student athletes took part in the annual October Pink Games to spread awareness and raise money for the Karen Wellington Foundation (KWF).

KWF supports women battling cancer by providing gifts of fun, including spa days and family vacations. The Summit has been one of KWF’s biggest supporters since 2011: the Pink Games raise enough money to positively impact eight to ten families each year.

Players on our field hockey and football teams played with purpose at “pink out” games, and the soccer and volleyball teams brought valuable health resources directly to our community with a free mammogram van.

Between bake sales, raffles and spirit wear sales, our athletes and supporters raised thousands of dollars for KWF and continued a proud tradition of service.

The Summit is proud of our Leaders of Character, both on and off the field.
