Five Summit students earn perfect score on National Latin Exam

Five students at The Summit Country Day School earned a perfect score on the 45th annual National Latin Exam (NLE). Less than 1% of students who took the exam earned a perfect score.

Emily Bolan, Callie Fox, Aaron Fraley, Kate McLane and Mia Rahner were the students who earned perfect scores. Overall, 50% of Summit students earned awards while 14% of students earned Gold Medals.

The students who earned awards are as follows:

Gold Medal + Summa Cum Laude Certificate

Emily Bolan, Irene Calderon, Hana Conte, Katie Dobelhoff, Callie Fox, Aaron Fraley, Owen McEachern, Kate McLane, William McLane, Sophia Nery, Mia Rahner and Grace Tounge.

In addition to taking the NLE, Irene won a special book award for earning a fourth-consecutive Gold Medal. 

Silver Medal + Maxima Cum Laude Certificate

Chike Anusionwu, Haley Baker, Benedict Domville, Allison Ebken, Jimmy Fraley, Cecilia Hasan, Addison Golden, Zaina Kamran, Ethan Lam, Claire Lamarre and Harper Wood.

Magna Cum Laude Certificate

Mia Cavallo, Kathryn Daniher, Wali Khan, Maddie Mescher, Benny Penote, Christopher Reuter, Kendall Richard and Lorenzo Rose.

Cum Laude Certificate

Abby Almaguer, Parker Bricking, Anneliese Brouwer, Jillian Chavez, Jackson Curt, Alex Davies, Drew Fletcher, Sam Hinton, Logan Miller, Samuel Parker, Eli Sparks and Jennifer Sullivan.

In addition to taking the NLE, Irene won a special book award for earning a fourth-consecutive Gold Medal. 

Over 88,000 students from all 50 states and 20 foreign countries took the 40-question multiple choice examination.
