In the beginning of October, Summit Lower School families donated essential hygiene items for their students to pack in service and solidarity. In Martha Rich's classroom, second graders packed 126 Disaster Relief Bags to donate to Matthew 25: Ministries, an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization headquartered in Blue Ash.
After the donation drop-off, our volunteers spent two hours in Matthew 25’s warehouse, helping sort and prepare more supplies for upcoming relief shipments. These efforts support communities across the United States that have been recently affected by natural disasters, including severe flooding and tornadoes throughout the Midwest and South.
Matthew 25: Ministries has responded to at least one major disaster every month in 2025. At The Summit, we teach our students to be compassionate leaders of character. With our community support, their Disaster Response Team can continue to deliver life-saving supplies and hope to those who need it most.
