Catherine Coldiron stands on the steps of the iconic entrance to The Summit Country Day School following her commencement. Catherine, who will run cross country and track at Loyola University New Orleans next year, leaves The Summit as the most decorated female runner in school history.

The Summit Country Day School will send 11 percent of the Class of 2020 to study and compete athletically at the collegiate level. This is more than the national average of seniors – 6.4 percent for boys and 8.25 percent for girls, according to the National College Athletic Association – advancing to the collegiate ranks.

With physical development as one of the five pillars written into The Summit’s holistic mission statement, 81 percent of the senior class participated in at least one sport during their senior year.
