Technology in the Classroom

Technology in the Classroom

The Summit’s technology program provides wireless connections and an abundance of laptops and classroom computers everywhere on campus, in three state-of-the-art computer laboratories and classroom smart boards. Our technology supports teaching and learning from our preschool through Grade 12. Lessons in the use of technology range from coding in kindergarten, maker experiments and robotics in our Exploratarium and 3D printing in the Middle School to Advanced Placement classes in the Upper School. Students may bring their own laptops or use ours.

We pride ourselves on developing creative problem-solvers, amazing researchers and great writers. Thanks to the support of our community, we have four amazing spaces -- the Williams Library and Helen Williams Reading Room, the Middle School's Tyrrell Library, the Lower School Library and the Montessori Collection — that are aesthetically inspirational and high-tech to support the rigorous curricula of our academic divisions.
