The Benefits of The Summit Country Day School
The greatest gifts a parent can give a child are an outstanding education and a solid value system. A Summit education provides just that. Sending your child to The Summit represents an investment in your child's future, and we recognize that choosing our school requires a significant commitment to financial planning. The Summit is committed to assisting families by making our educational program affordable. For example, we allocate about $3.8 million in need-based tuition assistance merit and endowed scholarships to qualifying students annually.
The value of a Summit education is evident when you review the outcomes of our graduates who Aim High. Our graduates are accepted to colleges and universities across the country and are awarded millions in merit scholarship awards. Many of our graduates earned college credit through studies in our extensive Advanced Placement Program, featuring more than 22 courses. Our AP students have an academic edge and are earning college credit through their Summit coursework. At some colleges, these credits allow our students to graduate early thereby reducing the cost of a college education.
To apply for tuition assistance, the Parents Financial Statement PFS through the National Association of Independent Schools can be found at sssbynais.org/parents.
