Parent Preview Days: Age 18 months through grade 8

Parents interested in enrolling their children (18 months through grade 8) are encouraged to attend one of Parent Preview Days scheduled during the year. You will receive an overview of the school, admissions process and tour the Montessori (18 months through kindergarten) Lower School (grades 1-4) or Middle School (grades 5-8).

In our Montessori Program
(18 months through kindergarten):

  • Tailor our curriculum for 18- to 36-month-olds in our Toddler Program
  • Offer academics and enrichment in the Montessori for 2- to 6-year-olds with full-day and half-day options
  • Begin World Language at age 2
  • Teach Orff Music from age 2 through kindergarten

In our Lower School
(Grades 1-4):

  • Provide state-of-the art science labs and our new Exploratariam with an MIT-trained engineer
  • Use data to personalize instruction to meet each child's academic needs
  • Deliver above-grade level readers to the fifth grade equipped and empowered by the Lower School's Five Star Reading Program
  • Build a mathematical foundation that endures for a lifetime through our signature Lower School Conceptual Math Program, which exceeds state and national standards
  • Develop divergent thinkers by emphasizing communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity
  • Lower School creative problem-solving lab, The Collaboratory, used for coding, STEAM skill-building
  • Teach Orff Music in first through third grade.

In our Middle School
(Grades 5-8):

  • Offer superior academic programs – including an extensive literature and writing program, math differentiation and acceleration opportunities, spiraling science curriculum offering hands-on lab-learning experience – to prepare Middle School students for the rigorous academic standards of the Upper School.
  • Signature Middle School STEM program
  • Provide a personalized experience in which each Middle School student is known and mentored through our advisement program.
  • Guide our Middle School students with a cross-curricular Character Education Program developing their skills in courage, perseverance, accountability and justice.
