Silver Knights Giving Week: September 18-24, 2023

What is Silver Knights Giving Week?

Silver Knights Giving Week is a week-long alumni focused fundraising effort for The Summit Fund, Summit's annual giving campaign, that takes place leading up to each reunion celebration. Silver Knights Giving Week focuses on the power of collective giving and paying it forward for the next generation of Summit families and students. This will include class challenges, contests and matches. Reunions provide an excellent opportunity to support The Summit in a way that is personally meaningful to you. Your Summit Fund gift will help current and future students experience the transformative power of a Summit education. Click here to view the campaign page and to make a gift!

What counts?
Whether you are celebrating a milestone reunion year or not, make a gift- of any amount, to any fund within The Summit Fund. All alumni are invited to make a gift in honor of their class. Each reunion class sets ambitious dollar and participation goals to send a powerful message that your class is committed to the ongoing vibrancy of The Summit. All gifts made during this week will be counted towards Silver Knights Giving Week participation and dollar goals.

Have more questions?
Silver Knights Giving Week is an opportunity to commemorate your Summit experience and reconnect with The Summit. Contact Kevin Johnson Jr. '13, alumni engagement and gift officer, to get connected to your class rep so you can learn more about specific class goals and challenges.

Additional giving opportunities
The Summit has capital, endowment and planned gift giving opportunities. Capital gifts are benefactor investments dedicated to mission-driven initiatives to accomplish approved Summit strategic plan objectives. Endowed funds are established to provide ongoing permanent support for designated funding recipients by use of interest earned on endowments, rather than at the expense of the funds themselves. Planned gifts provide for the future of Summit by remembering the school in your will or other estate plans, including gifts of property, life insurance policies, charitable trusts, gift annuities and bequests. Contact Kevin Johnson Jr. '13 for more information around capital, endowment or planned gift opportunities.
