Fitness, Unity and Competitiveness

Field hockey is the longest running sport here at The Summit. It was the first organized sport the school formed.

The Summit competes in the Southwest Ohio Field Hockey League with Indian Hill, Mount Notre Dame, Saint Ursula Academy, Ursuline Academy, Talawanda, Kettering Fairmont and Oakwood.

Caroline Capellupo will be serving as head coach for the 26-27 field hockey season, after completing graduate school at Miami University. She was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, where she started playing field hockey in 7th grade for Aim Field Hockey Club. She went on to play in high school at Cor Jesu Academy, in both defensive and goalie positions. During her high school career, she also gained experience coaching, reffing, and managing younger athletes at her field hockey club. Caroline went on to attend the University of Tulsa for undergrad and Miami University for graduate school, where she put her field hockey career on pause to focus on academics. After moving to Cincinnati in 2025, she has rejoined the field hockey community, both as a player and a coach. Playing sports and staying active has always been a huge part of her life, so she is looking forward to the opportunity to help shape future athletes at The Summit! She will be assisted by Abby Moore '22.
