Head Coach Kevin Johnson Jr '13 was hired in 2023 after a playing career that included the 2012 state championship basketball team at The Summit and four years as a guard with the University of Cincinnati Bearcats. He also played for one year on a Cleveland Cavaliers development team and one year internationally. As a coach, Mr. Johnson volunteered with the varsity team at The Summit for one year under Coach Pat Cosgrove during the 2018-19 season before being named head coach of the junior varsity team the next year. He then went to coach the JV squad at Little Miami High School for two years. Fun fact: Mr. Johnson coached Summit's fifth grade team to a league championship. Kevin led the 23-24 Summit boy' varsity team to the MVC title and also took the 24-25 team the state semifinals.

Kevin is assisted by Deiontay Walters, Abasi Key, Matt Lackney, Corey Albertson, Joshua Davenport and George Tyler.
