Ravin Alexander, a member of the Class of 2018, picked up another postseason award as she was named a first-team all-American by TopDrawerSoccer.com. She was one of three players from Ohio and 12 players total.
Ravin, Fairfield, will play soccer at Division I University of Louisville this fall and was a high-level competitor at The Summit. She was a member of the 2015 and 2017 Division III state championship girls’ soccer teams and was team co-captain this past season.
A three-year letterwinner and starter, she holds eight school records: 70 career goals; 169 career points; 41 goals in a season (2017); 10 game-winning goals in a season (2017); 12 multiple goal games in a season (2017), 94 points in a season, (2017), 13 consecutive games scored (2017) and 15 consecutive games scored (2017).
This new accolade is added to an already impressive list which includes Miami Valley Conference (MVC) Honorable Mention, 2014; 1st Team, 2015 and 2017; Player of the Year, 2017; All-Southwest Ohio, 2015 and 2017; Southwest Ohio Player of the Year, 2017; All-Southwest Ohio Academic, 2015 and 2017; Enquirer All-Star, 2015 & 2017; All-Ohio 1st Team, 2015 and 2017; Ohio Player of the Year, 2017; All-Ohio Academic, 2017; All-Region, 2015 and 2017; All-American, 2017 and a Scholar All-American. Cincinnati USA Women’s Sports Association named her high school soccer player of the year in April.
