The Summit Country Day School has announced its schedule of key dates when students and parents interested in enrollment for the 2019-20 school year can visit the school. Reminder, an RSVP is required for all events.
Summer Knight: Eighth graders are invited to a Summer Knight on Friday, Aug. 31 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Pick-up is at 9 p.m. for students who stay for the Silver Knights' first home football game of the season.
Shadow Days: Shadow Days will be on select dates from Sept. 18 through Dec. 5. Students who are currently in grades 8-10 spend a day with a student, sit in on classes and get a free lunch.
Parent Preview Days: Prospective parents seeking admission to Montessori Preschool through grade 8 are invited Oct. 25 or Nov. 14. Program begins at 8:30 a.m.
Montessori Information Sessions: Scheduled for Nov. 29, Jan. 8, Feb. 7 and March 5, beginning at 8:30 a.m., parents are provided with an overview of the program for 18 months to age 6. Classroom tours are offered, too. Children 2 1/2 years old and older may visit a classroom while parents preview the program.
Upper School Parent Preview Days: Scheduled for Sept. 27, Oct. 4 and Oct. 24, beginning at 8:30 a.m., parents can hear about our Upper School curriculum, take a tour of the school and get information about applications, scholarships and financial aid.
Open House: Prospective parents and students are invited to attend the Upper School Open House on Nov. 15 at 6:30 p.m.
Admissions Testing: The Summit is a site for the High School Placement Test. Eighth grade students can take the test here on Nov. 17 at 8:30 a.m.
Dec. 5 is the deadline for application for the Class of 2023, merit scholarships and tuition assistance.
