Three Summit students receive National Hispanic Recognition

Summit seniors Alex Almaguer, Julia Rosa Helm and Colby Gordon received National Hispanic recognition by the College Board.

Alex Almaguer, Loveland; Julia Rosa Helm, Anderson Township; and Colby Gordon, Hyde Park, seniors at The Summit Country Day School, have received National Hispanic recognition by the College Board.

They are among about 5,000 of the 250,000 Hispanic/Latino juniors who take the PSAT to be recognized nationwide.   

Alex and Julia Rosa was also among the three students who were named National Merit semifinalists.

Altogether, 13 percent of The Summit’s graduating class have been given some kind of recognition from National Merit and College Board programs.
