Summit will host its annual Campus Day event this Sunday

The Summit Country Day School will host its annual Campus Day event starting at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 28.

This event is open to the public and is one of the few times new families, current families and alumni gather.

A new addition to the Campus Day schedule is the Exploratarium preview and robotics demonstration. That runs from 11 a.m. to noon in the Exploratarium on the ground floor of the main building.

Campus Day also includes opportunities for students to display their artistic talents.

Here are some of the events:

  • Campus Day Art Show, 11 a.m.- 5 p.m., Flannery Gymnasium
  • Historical Summit Tour, 11 a.m. – noon, Ragland Family Alumni Parlor
  • New Family Reception, 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m., Lower School Atrium
  • Lower School students sing their favorite songs, 11:15 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., Flannery Gymnasium
  • Middle School Chamber ensembles will perform at noon prior to the 12:15 p.m. Mass.
  • Upper School Chamber ensembles will perform at the Endowment Luncheon, which happens at 1:30 p.m. in St. Cecilia Hall.
  • Middle School students will perform “Alice in Wonderland,” at 2:30 p.m. in Kyte Theater.
