10 Summit students win awards in Hyde Park Art Show

Seven students in The Summit Country Day School’s Harold C. Schott Middle School, two Upper School students and one Lower School student won awards for their submitted work in the annual Hyde Park Art Show.

Middle School art teacher Paula Bien Yarnell ’65 submitted the works of eighth graders Keegan Cleary, College Hill; Kyle Lauckner, Anderson Township; Tyler Berry; Hyde Park; Vivi Bohmer, Hyde Park; Jue "Jack" Wang, Symmes Township; sixth grader Devlan Daniel, Springfield Township; and fifth grader Madelyn Smith, Hyde Park.

Keegan, Tyler and Devlan earned first-place finishes while Vivi finished in third place. Kyle, Jack and Madelyn received honorable mention.

Seniors Emely Villalba, Loveland, and Isabel Schomburger, Hyde Park, finished first and second, respectively.

Third grader Kayden Smith, Hyde Park, finished in second place.

Their work will be on display at the Hyde Park Library all month long.
