Cornerstone Heritage Society

Shape the Future ∙ Leave a Lasting Legacy

The Cornerstone Heritage Society recognizes and honors those alumni, families, and friends who have thoughtfully provided for the future of The Summit Country Day School through their will and/or estate plans. The Cornerstone Heritage Society members provide a solid foundation to secure the future financial strength and security of The Summit Country Day School. Behind all Summit students and alumni are generations of benefactors who helped to make their education possible through their estate plans.

Ways to give through the Cornerstone Heritage Society

“The quality of a Summit education is measured not only by what one accomplishes, but also by the character of life to which one aspires.”
– Mary (Foss) Brinkmeyer ‘67

THE JOURNEY

For more than a century, the youth of Cincinnati have been offered a superior education rooted in the characteristics, values and activities of a Notre Dame learning community. From the founding of the Academy of Our Lady of Cincinnati, to the emergence of The
Summit Country Day School, to the Summit of the 21st century, the principles of the Sisters of Notre Dame are very much alive in our classrooms.

OUR COMMITMENT

Today’s students are the beneficiaries of a remarkable heritage. The Summit community challenges every student, faculty and staff member to share fully the gifts that have been given to them by God; to grow in grace and wisdom; to develop spiritually, academically, physically, socially and artistically; and to become people of character who value and improve the world they inherit. This shared commitment is a bond that unites you with your fellow alumni  throughout your lifetime.

YOUR LEGACY

By joining The Cornerstone Heritage Society, you can ensure that The Summit will continue to educate students of character and conviction, fulfilling the legacy of the Sisters of Notre Dame. By informing us of your intentions, it is our pleasure to welcome you into this distinguished group of supporters who are committed to
providing students with a strong, independent Catholic education for
generations to come.
