Inspiration: I had fantastic teachers in early elementary school that made me feel unique and special, and this is what I want to give to my students. The Summit allows me to try innovative teaching methods. With the small class size, I am able to give more individual attention to my students.

Philosophy: As a constructivist, I feel that children need to experience scientific concepts to make sense of them. They are constantly in the process of creating and refining concepts in my class.

Personal: Husband, Eric; three children: Josh '16, Emma '18 and Keelin '20  who all have attended The Summit. I love to travel, read, scrapbook and watch football.
