Inspiration: What inspires me to be a teacher is my love of learning and my love for children. When I was in grade school, I struggled with learning and my fourth grade teacher did everything she could to help me succeed. From that point forward I realized that I wanted to help students succeed the way that she helped me. The reason I came to The Summit was because I value Catholic education and learning that the students receive. I want to be part of a great school that produces great lifelong learners and successful community members. What inspires me about the opportunities The Summit has is that I am going to be working in the Montessori kindergarten classroom. I look forward to expanding my knowledge of teaching and learning. I also am looking forward to growing as an educator and working with so many wonderful professionals that will help me succeed as an educator.

Philosophy: My philosophy of learning in my classroom is to challenge students to help them reach their full potential. I believe that students should have the opportunity to learn in multiple ways. I believe that students learn from each other and from hands on experiences. My goal for the children in my classroom is for them to have a life long love of learning.

Personal: I was born and raised in Ft. Thomas, Ky.
