Mrs. Molly Tassone

Teacher

Year Started: 2017

Degree: B.S., Nursing, Vanderbilt University

Experience: Worked as a nurse for 11 years; previously taught and substitute taught at The Summit for seven years; worked in home business and as an office manager/independent contractor.

Inspiration: My favorite memories of The Summit involve the times our daughters spent in the Montessori Program and the time I spent working there. I feel a strong connection with the teachers I have worked with in the past, appreciate the level of parental involvement at The Summit and am happy to re-join The Summit community.

Philosophy: I want to give each child a sense of purpose; I will inspire in each student a sense of empowerment and confidence, and I will foster a community that enables students to understand the importance of learning to the best of their ability and living in harmony with others.

Personal: My husband, Greg, and I have two daughters -- Megan and Lauren. They both attended The Summit from the age of three through eighth grade. My favorite things to do include spending time with friends, meeting new people, going on long walks and enjoying nature, reading, knitting and needlepointing. Greg, who is a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker West Shell, and I are big fans of The Summit and the city of Cincinnati.
