Mrs. Angelina Kling
Year Started: 2015 - Extended Day Teacher and 2017 - Montessori Teacher
Experience: One year in Early Childhood Education prior to The Summit.
Degree: B.A., Communicatons/Public Relations and a minor in Marketing, University of Dayton. Montessori Credential, Greater Cincinnati Center for Montessori Education.
Memberships: American Montessori Society; Cincinnati Montessori Society.
Inspiration: Maria Montessori and Pope Francis have both inspired me to work with children. The Pope recently said, "Tenderness is not weakness, it's strength," and that is the best way to describe my interactions with children.
Philosophy: I am called to serve the children, and I believe all children are different, so treating children fairly, doesn't mean treating all children the same. It's most important to preserve and respect all children's dignity.
Personal: My husband, Jonathan Kling, is a member of The Summit's Class of 1997 and our three year-old son is a Summit student. I have full Catholic education after having attended All Saints School, Ursuline Academy and The University of Dayton. My hobbies include cooking, walking, reading Montessori books and writing. I volunteer and serve underpriviledged children through my home parish, All Saints.
