Inspiration: I was first introduced to Montessori while visiting my nephew in his Montessori classroom at The Summit. I was immediately impressed with the environment and teachers. It inspired me to pursue my own Montessori certification. The Summit is a very special family that I am proud and honored to become a part of. The sense of family and love for the children and the joy in the work going on is easy to see and feel the moment you enter the building. It is a very special place.

Philosophy: I believe each child is a gift and I feel lucky to have the opportunity to watch them grow and learn. Montessori provides a foundation for these children to develop a love of learning from a very early age. The world is a busy and fast place and the Montessori classroom is a place where we can allow children to slow down and explore and discover at their own pace.

Personal: I love spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy animals, cooking, reading and theatre. My favorite thing to do is spending time with my 10-year-old daughter, Madison.
