Inspiration: I was inspired to tell Bible stories to the very young by Diana Krick, a former Summit parent and volunteer. When I observed my daughter, Becca, in one of Diana’s classes, I was hooked. Becca was not quite 3-years-old and she was completely engaged as Diana told a Bible story, led songs, prayed and read from the Bible. The skill and technique Diana demonstrated using engaging materials and music showed me a way to help children begin their faith journey.
Philosophy: I believe we must begin when our children our very young to pass on our faith to them. This is the greatest gift we can give them. Knowing they are loved by God just the way they are, will give our children the confidence to wonder, question, explore and to develop to their greatest potential.
Personal: Husband, Chris; children, Becca, Maggie and David.
