Volunteer Opportunities with the SPA
Volunteer service at The Summit is a proud tradition and an important component of our children’s strong educational experience. Help us continue this tradition by donating your time and talents through participation in SPA sponsored events activities. Your time is greatly appreciated.
SPA Sponsored Events
Welcome Reception: Come and connect with other Summit parents and learn about SPA sponsored events and opportunities to volunteer.
Fall Festival: An all-school favorite! This fun-filled festival with carnival games, games of skill and festival foods is a great warm-up for the Homecoming football game. Bring the family and friends for the festival and stay for the game afterwards!
Naturalization Ceremony: Summit hosts a patriotic Naturalization Ceremony on campus annually. Volunteers manage a table of snacks and drinks for the new citizens and their families.
Faculty and Staff Appreciation Days: The SPA thanks all of our faculty and staff with a festive themed breakfast and lunch!
Hands Across the Water: School-wide service project supporting the Sisters of Notre Dame Clean Water Fund, followed by a 6K walkathon on campus.
Spring Social: Parents, alumni, faculty and staff members enjoy a themed social event!
Helping Hands: There are lots of opportunities to volunteer to help prepare materials for the teachers to be used in the classrooms.
Parent Mixers: Volunteers host a parent social (cocktails, cookout, wine tasting, etc.) for their child’s grade. This is a great way to get to know your peers at The Summit.
Campus Day: This all-school spring celebration focuses on visual and performing arts.
