Homework Start
Homework Start
Students between grades 1 - 8 who are registered in the Homework Start program are given active assistance with homework and studying with the supervision of a Summit adult. Program participants gather for a brief period of physical activity, a healthy snack, and then one-hour of group homework assistance and supervision. This is not a tutoring session; rather it is an opportunity for your child to complete homework in the presence of and with the assistance from a Summit adult.
The faculty of The Summit Country Day School believe in the importance of the parent/ school connection and therefore expect that all parents will continue to review their child’s homework each evening as a way of staying connected with the child’s educational progress.
Benefits of attending Homework Start
