Midday Care

Midday Care provides half-day students in the Montessori with a transition time in the Extended Day room before being picked up at 12:30 p.m. Students must pack a lunch to eat in the classroom; extra clothes and diapers are needed for the toddlers. The children will have free choice and play time while exploring the different activities in the classroom. Matching the mission of our school, this program is designed to be an extension of the Montessori half-day school day. The activities are fun, and reinforce each child’s development in the five pillars of our school.

Hours for Midday Care

The Midday Care Program is available for half-day Montessori students only from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. daily on days that school is in session. With limited space available, we require a pre-paid reservation made via Ultracamp no less than 24 hours in advance.

What parents can expect:

• Students should have a lunch packed to eat in the classroom.
• Extra clothes and diapers are needed for the toddlers. 
• The children will have free choice and play time while exploring the different activities in the classroom. 
• Pickup by 12:30 p.m.

Pick-up Procedures

When picking up children, parents/guardians must ring the buzzer to the Extended Day classroom, unless they are utilizing the LS playground. Alternative pick-up arrangements must be put in writing and submitted to Betty Woodard, Midday Care Program Manager, prior to that date.

Pricing and Registration

The pricing per student is $20 per day.
(Montessori half-day students only)

Advanced registration is required through UltraCamp. 

New users must create a log-in, and returning users will use their existing log-in credentials to select the programs they wish to participate in.

As weather permits, our students will engage in outdoor activity on the Lower School playground located outside the Montessori classrooms.
